I came here for lunch today with two friends and had a really lovely time. We all had the set lunch which I believe is incredible value !! 8.90 !! And we each had a drink, the hot matcha and hojicha were both lovely and served in the cutest mugs from Japan. Overall a lovely midweek lunch and would recommend!

Very cute japanese cafe near Haggerston. They offer simple and nice breakfast/lunch. I love the food and drinks. Went here twice for hojicha latte and then a set meal with matcha. They also offer soba, desserts and everything looks good. It is also a family friendly restaurant as it has a small playground.

High recommend! Really cosy and cute spot by the canal with delicious food and authentic Japanese food. Matcha was really good - I got the natto set (it’s hard to find natto out of Japan). Lots of dogs and really affordable for central london! Already planning to come back to try the udon...

such a pretty cafe, right by the canal. the lady who served us was so sweet and recommended us some food to try! it did get really busy quickly, and it’s a small space so it does get quite loud. the fillings of the onigiri were quite different which I enjoyed. the udon soup was lovely too. the drinks are so so so good though! i recommend the the hoji-cha, loved the cups too. would come again!

A wonderful little hidden gem, tucked away next to the basin a cafe full of delicious food, lovely drinks, a fantastic atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and a real treat. Cold Udon noodles on a hot day were to die for!

The cold soba noodles were delightful; as were the lattes and homemade ice cream. However, the absolute star of the show was that perfectly seasoned steamed egg. Its flavour lives on fondly in my memories.
